OBJECTIVES

  • Knowledge of the curricular basics in relation to foreign language teaching and learning.
  • Capacity for reflection on current methodology approaches regarding second language teaching and learning.
  • Continuous learning of basic methodology aspects that are linked to discursive skills in the teaching of English.
  • Metacognitive capacity to reflect on the importance of intercultural contents and procedures in foreign language teaching.
  • The use of literature in foreign language teaching.
  • Analysis and assessment of materials and didactic resources in the English classroom.
  • Knowledge of alternative ways of teaching.
  • Use of the Internet and new technologies in foreign language teaching.
  • Acquired didactic knowledge start-up.
