Hello!

My name is Andrew. I am twelve years old.

I am tall and thin. I have got brown eyes and dark hair. 

I have got one sister.

I live in Leeds. I study in Pudsey Grangefield High school.

How old are you?

To talk about your age you use the verb "TO BE" (ser,estar). Look at its different forms:

 I am thirteen years old.

You are twelve years old

She is eight years old.

My mother is thirty-five years old.

In English you use the verb "Be" (ser/estar) to talk about you:

You also use the verb "Have got" (tener) to talk about you:

Saxon Genitive: Pay attention to these examples from above:

This construction is called the "Saxon Genitive" and it also expresses possesion
