The primary goal of Canada and Beyondis to help establish critical dialogue among an international community of artists and intellectuals with common views on the political and social roles of literature, art, and other forms of cultural expression. Such common views may well be synthesized, for practical matters, as deriving from postcolonial, antiracist, and feminist critical and personal stances and, in all cases, from a shared support of ethics of affect.

We invite progressive perspectives in the field of canadian cultural and literary studies. Authors are also invited to reflect on transnational and transcultural issues connected to canadian cultural productions.
