Nicola Rubino is currently a Margarita Salas visiting researcher and teacher in Huelva. He got his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Barcelona with a thesis on applied macroeconometrics, focusing on exchange rate behavior and commodity prices. He also holds a master in economics at the University of Warwick, and Bachelor and first level master degree at the University of Rome, la Sapienza. He has been involved in the past in international and national projects like the PERCEIVE project (Perception and Evaluation of Regional and Cohesion policies by Europeans and identification with the values of Europe), financed by the EU. His teaching experience involves fundamental classes such as Statistics I and Introduction to Econometrics as well as more advanced courses in Time Series and Forecasting Methods. |
