British money
The currency of the UK is £ (pound) sterling.
There are 100 pence (p) to one pound. Notes are in denominations of £50 (red), £20 (purple), £10 (brown) and £5 (blue). There are additional bank notes issued by Scottish banks, which are also legal tender in all parts of the UK.

The denominations for coins are £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p.
