🌟 Postdoctoral Researcher Position Available in Nuclear Physics at the University of Huelva, Spain 🌟
The Nuclear Physics Group of the University of Huelva (Spain) is seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher to support the research program on nuclear reactions and the design study of the ISRS spectrometer (ISOLDE Superconducting Recoil Separator, www.uhu.es/isrs/), an innovative particle spectrometer for the ISOLDE facility at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland).
Requirements
Applicants should have a PhD in nuclear physics/engineering, or related fields. Experience in nuclear reactions (theory/experiments), simulations, nuclear/particle physics laboratories, and/or scientific instrumentation, will be of particular interest. Availability for travel, good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join an international team of physicists and engineers and should play an active role on nuclear reactions simulations, experiments, and in the development of an ion test bench of superconducting magnets for the ISRS project. Results of the activity will be presented at collaboration meetings and international conferences.
