 More than two dozens of researchers met in Faro

The Room of Seminars of the Central Library of the University of The Algarve received last April 22, 2009, the first meeting of the groups of research involved in the project. The meeting began, in plenary session, with the receipt of all the participants, to which was followed with a brief presentation of the project RISE - Network of Research of Europa's Southwest, specially to level of activities, aims, calendar and approved budget.

Later, 23 researchers of Huelva, The Algarve, Beja, Cadiz and Seville, trained teams of work to debate of detailed form the aims, activities, calendar and budget for each of eleven subprojects to realizing and that are grouped in 4 big thematic areas: Environment, Food-processing industry, Health and Heritage.
