On March 17, 2009 there was celebrated in the facilities of the Chief of Row - University of Huelva - the first meeting of the Political Committee and the Management committee and Management of the project. At the meeting they were present, in addition representatives of the University of Huelva, the University of the Algarve, Beja's Technical Institute, the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology and the Institute of Marine Sciences of Andalusia.
This meeting, which marked the official beginning of the project, has re-defined the general aims and the activities to approach really the approved budget. The attention centred on the activities on coordination and management to developing for the Chief of Row, the planning of the Researcher' School, the accomplishment of thematic workshops and technical meetings, the decision to keep all the subprojects of research foreseen in the request and as well as the periods of eligibility of the expenses to bearing in mind. Also it was decided to organize for April, in Faro, the first meeting of workgroups of the researchers.
