Travel information

Punta Umbría from Huelva:

Punta Umbria (around 20 Kms away from) is joined to Huelva by the regular bus line M-302. You can find here the information about the line, timetables and the itinerary. As you can see there, stop number 1 corresponds to Hotel Barceló, where the Workshop will take place.

Huelva can be reached by train from Madrid or Sevilla.


Huelva via Madrid:

Huelva can be also reached from Madrid by train. You will find here the timetable from RENFE and a purchase sevice for tickets.


Huelva via Sevilla:

Seville is the main city in the vicinity of Huelva (around 100 Kms away) and one of the most important Spanish ones (the fourth by population). Seville can be easily reached

  • by plane, either directly or via Madrid or Barcelona
  • by train from Madrid (the trip takes 2.5 hours; check here the timetables from RENFE and a purchase sevice for tickets).

    • Huelva is about 100 kms away from Seville. There are several buses a day from Sevilla (Plaza de Armas bus station) to Huelva (check here the timetables).

    In the case of enough demand, the organization will arrange a bus trip from Sevilla to Punta Umbría Monday, September 29th, late in the afternoon. The bus can make two stops to collect people on the airport and on the railway station (Santa Justa).

    Huelva via Faro (Portugal):

    Huelva can be also reached from the international airport of Faro (Portugal) by regular buses. In this link you can see the transfer services from Faro to Huelva on September 29, and can check them for any other day as well.
