El proyecto RISE ha celebrado su 3º Workshop

El Proyecto RISE (Red de Investigadores del Suroeste de Europa), celebró el pasado 13 de Diciembre de 2010 en la Sala de Seminarios del Rectorado del Campus de Gambela de la Universidad del Algarve, su 3º Workshop, en el que se presentaron los avances de las investigaciones de los 11 subproyectos que componen esta Red de Investigadores: VIVE, TECNOMED, HYDROPON, OLITRACE, CIANOTOOLS, GUADHOL/MEGASIGIDT, CROSUDHIS, EAE-FER, PHOTOPESTICIDAS, FARMACOTOX Y ENDOCRINOBIOTOX.

II Workshop RISE

Portuguese and Spanish researchers met in the second Workshop in the Project "Research Network in Southwest Europa"

Last 29th April 2010, it was celebrated in Beja's Technical Institute (Alentejo, Portugal) the second Workshop of the Research Project RISE.

In this meeting, 40 researchers and technicians by University of Huelva, Universidade do Algarve, Beja's Technical Institute, ICMA-CSIC, IRNA-CSIC and ARH Algarve), showed the advances are being developed in the different subprojects: VIVE, TECNOMED, PHOTOPESTICIDAS, CROSUDHIS, GUADHOL, FARMACOTOX, ENDOCRINOBIOTOX, OLITRACE, CIANOTOOLS, HYDROPON and EAEFER.

At the same time, there were another meeting with the people in charges, in wich the main subject was the next 2d announcement in the Operative Program of Cross-border Cooperation Spain-Portugal (POCTEP).

From November 9 to November 13, of last year, it was celebrated the Science and Technology Week in the University of Huelva.

I Workshop RISE

Last Thursday, the 22nd of October there celebrated in the Experimental Sciences Faculty of the Campus El Carmen of Huelva the first cross-border Workshop in the frame of the project RISE, Researcher Network of Europa's Southwest, approved in the first summons of the proyectos of the Operative Program of cross-border Cooperation Spain - Portugal 2007-2013. This Network takes as a principal aim the dynamization of joint activities of investigation(research) in the cross-border space of the regions of Andalusia, the Algarve and the Baiixo Alentejo.

In this first Workshop the groups of research participants showed the first results of the projects of research that they are developing in the RISE. These projects are: cross-border Study on behaviors of risk for the health in the higher education (LIVES), Roman Cities of the Southwest of Roman Spain (CROSUDHIS), Tools for the prompt detection of episodes of biological pollution in waters of reservoirs for human consumption (CIANOTOOLS), environmental Management of the Estuary of the river The Guadiana (MEGASIGIDT), strategic Evaluation (EAE-FER) of the possible railway connections Huelva-ALgarve, Study of the presence of disruptores endocrine and of his effects in marshes and aquatic ecosystems of the cross-border region of the Southwest of Spain and Portugal (ENDOCRIBIOTOX), Study of the presence of medicaments: Diagnostics, effects and risks in the marshes and aquatic ecosystems of the cross-border region of the Southwest of Spain and Portugal (FARMACOTOX), Technological development in culture without soil (HIDROPON), Study of the geographical traceability of the oils of olive virgins of the Iberian Southwest (OLITRACE), Photobehaviour of benzimidazole-derived pesticides and models in water closet solution and nanocontainers (PHOTOPESTICIDAS) and New technologies poscosechas in Mediterranean products. Citrus fruits and Olive trees of Oil-mill (TECNOMED).

This type of meetings is directed to establish a free zone of borders for the research between Spain and Portugal, and the construction of an European Space of Research.
