-Receive regular feedback on the industry' status and needs, feeding our understanding of it and our research.
-Make available to industry players the research conducted by GEIDETUR and its major contributions, thereby increasing the effectiveness of knowledge transfer.

COMMITMENT:
The members of this Group assume the commitment expressed in our declarations of mission and vision. Putting into practice that work philosophy is what justifies our membership.
GEIDETUR is open to new researchers: PhDs or candidates to reach this academic degree, from the University of Huelva or from other higher education institutions, Spanish or foreigners. The decision of accepting new researchers will be made by the current member, taking into account the candidate’s commitment to work in some of our lines of research and to fully accept our work philosophy. Within this framework the decisions about inbound and outbound researchers will be made. As a team, some basic values and principles have to be shared by its members; a culture in short, which has to be preserved.
The results of our research have to be published, mainly, in books and academic journals, both national and international, of scientific impact. Furthermore, GEIDETUR has to be a frequent contributor to major national and international conferences and scientific events.
The members of GEIDETUR has taken on the commitment of electing its head each five years, on a democratic basis. In 2009, Prof. Alfonso Vargas has been fully backed for a new (second) term.
