Entre lo singular y lo compartido: Diálogos entre la Terapia Basada en Procesos y la Logoterapia en el marco organizativo de red del Metamodelo Evolutivo Extendido

En este artículo se presentan las bases teóricas de la Terapia Basada en Procesos, un enfoque clínico reciente cuya bibliografía académica en español es escasa. Luego se utiliza este enfoque para abordar procesos y núcleos de tratamiento que son centrales en la Logoterapia en paralelo con las propuestas de otros modelos de intervención, organizándolos y articulándolos en el marco del Metamodelo Evolutivo Extendido (EEMM) que forma parte de las bases teóricas de la terapia basada en procesos. En el desarrollo del artículo resulta evidente que la Logoterapia anticipó y fue pionera en el abordaje de muchos de los temas y procesos centrales de las denominadas terapias de segunda y tercera generación, como también de la psicología positiva. No obstante, más allá de los estudios sobre la eficacia terapéutica general de la Logoterapia y otros modelos derivados de esta para ciertas problemáticas, excepto por algunas intervenciones como la intención paradójica y la promoción del descubrimiento del sentido de la vida, gran parte de los procesos y técnicas que se presentan no cuentan con evidencia empírica específica. En todos los casos hace falta evidencia empírica adicional, a la vez que algunos términos parecen hacer referencia a procesos similares o superpuestos por lo que resulta fundamental incrementar la precisión y alcance en su formulación. Por último, se presenta un ejemplo de formulación de caso clínico. Se concluye que el empleo del Metamodelo Evolutivo Extendido como clave organizativa e integradora de los procesos resulta prometedor por cuanto proporciona un lenguaje y un marco común que permite focalizar en los posibles ingredientes más potentes de diferentes intervenciones y la manera en que estos podrían ser combinados de manera efectiva para cada persona en su contexto particular.
