La Psicología a través de los sellos postales

Los sellos postales son elementos de comunicación universales que transmiten mensajes culturales, históricos y sociales del país emisor. También son vehículos de imágenes y de eslóganes, por lo que se han considerado como un eficaz medio de enseñanza y divulgador de las ciencias. Comunicar la ciencia a través de los sellos ha sido una tarea frecuente en el ámbito docente, por ello se conocen diferentes publicaciones sobre sellos dedicados a la Química, a las Matemáticas, a la Física, a algunas ramas de la Medicina, o a las personas vinculadas al mundo científico. Sin embargo, la Psicología nunca ha sido objeto de ser examinada mediante los sellos postales. En este trabajo, se ha realizado una breve revisión histórica de la Psicología, a través de las diferentes corrientes psicológicas, haciendo énfasis en los psicólogos que han sido honrados por constituir el objeto de la emisión de un sello postal.
